01What it does

Four modules carry a producer from first registration to accredited, premium-eligible status.

    Onboarding
    Implementers register producers with structured data on their operations, ownership and practices. Every producer enters the programme with a documented baseline and a clear route to compliance.
  2. 02
    Evaluation
    Producers are assessed against the Initiative's 27 criteria across governance, social and environmental themes. Experts in the field apply a five-level rubric; the platform turns their judgment into a consistent, comparable record.
  3. 03
    Planning
    Evaluation gaps become a continuous improvement plan for each producer: corrective actions, capacity building, timelines and milestones, agreed between implementer and Association and tied to premium eligibility.
  4. 04
    Monitoring
    Field reports, photographs and documents track each plan over time. Progress towards milestones is visible to the Association as it happens, and the full history stays on the producer's record.

Evaluations on SBG are made by people, not algorithms. Implementers apply expert judgment on the ground; the platform structures, versions and preserves what they decide. The result is an accreditation record the whole Initiative can rely on.

02Who works in it

Each organisation sees the programme through its own interface, with roles and permissions scoped to its work.
